Following Cincinnati's failed effort to score on fourth and goal from the Browns one-yard line, Cleveland is forced to setup their ensuing possession at the one. Peyton Hillis gets the call on consecutive downs, picking up seven yards, setting up a third and three from the Browns eight-yard line. Colt McCoy takes the snap when Manny Lawson breaks through the line of scrimmage and forces McCoy to scramble out of the pocket, sprinting towards the right sidelines. Officials mark it as a first down when Domata Peko motioned to Marvin Lewis to challenge, which is exactly what the head coach did. Cincinnati won the challenge, resetting the football one yard before the line of scrimmage and forcing the Browns to punt.

The punt punched a hole in the sky, only traveling 37 yards where the Bengals take over from the Browns 47-yard line.

During Cincinnati's previous drive, Benson picked up 40 yards on Cincinnati's 13-play drive that fell one yard short of a touchdown. Benson gets the handoff off the left edge for a seven-yard gain. On second down, Andy Dalton fakes the handoff and rolls out right with A.J. Green running a vertical to the 25-yard line before turning around and waiting for the pass. Green dives and hauls in the 24-yard reception.

On first and ten from the Browns 16-yard line, Benson takes the handoff with Nate Livings lead blocking around the left edge -- the guard kicks out the end and Benson runs down the sidelines for a 16-yard touchdown to tie the game at seven.
